Young Yogis 4-8:  Let's play! Safe and simple individual, partner and group poses create an atmosphere of fun for everyone.  Through stories, songs and connections with the animal world, games, breathing, sounds and balance are brought to life.  

Young Yogis 9 - 13:  Bring the party to life with laughter and fun.  Relaxation through meditation, breathing, visualization as well as safe individual, partner and group poses are sure to make everyone smile.  A great way to get everyone active and engaged.  

The research base for the health merits of teaching yoga to children and youth is growing and positive. Shakta Khalsa – a pioneer in teaching yoga to children suggests: children’s yoga is not a simplified version of yoga for adults, it is unique practice. Khalsa also emphasizes that it is important to meet children where they are, and that they experience yoga as fun. The focus is to strengthen the Young Yogi’s understanding of self while among friends with the hope that they may make it a lifelong activity.  We are looking forward to playing along side your Young Yogi and friends.
